Classes take place in the pottery, located up a short track behind my house.

There are two student wheels for throwing, and two large tables that can accommodate 6-8 people for handbuilding. The pottery has a wood heater but the building does not hold heat well, so warm clothing is advisable in winter and on cooler days.

Parking is available in front of the house. The toilet (not wheelchair accessible) is also at the house. If you have access requirements please let me know when booking.

There is room for one car to drive up the track and park outside the pottery; this is restricted to those with a disability who cannot walk up the track. In wet weather the track may only be 4WD accessible. There is one low step into the pottery itself. There are two stools used while throwing but no other seating. Please notify in advance if standing is an issue for you.

Most tools will be provided, however you should bring an apron if you wish to protect your clothing and a towel for your hands. It is helpful if you can bring a box and newspaper to be used for packing your items once fired.
